Lohaasavam is a classical Ayurvedic fermented liquid preparation (asavam) prepared as per the Bhaishajyaratnavali formulation. The name reflects its primary ingredient — Loha (purified iron) — combined with a carefully selected group of digestive and supportive herbs, naturally fermented with honey and jaggery to produce a self-generated, bioavailable tonic.
