Naaraayanatailam – Classical Ayurvedic Medicated Oil
200ml | Bhaishajyaratnavali Reference | Multi-modal Application
Naaraayanatailam is a classical Ayurvedic medicated oil prepared as per the Bhaishajyaratnavali formulation. Traditionally indicated for vata ailments and vatashonita (vata-rakta / gout-like conditions), this oil is distinguished by its versatile classical application modes — it may be used for snehapaanam (internal oleation), nasya karma (nasal administration), and external application, all strictly as directed by a qualified Ayurvedic physician.
Each 10 ml is prepared from decoction-group herbs, paste-group botanicals and minerals, fresh Shatavari juice, goat’s milk, and pure sesame oil — processed in accordance with classical taila paka methodology.
⚠️ This oil is used in multiple classical Panchakarma and therapeutic modes (Snehapanam, Nasya). All modes of administration must be performed strictly under the supervision of a qualified Ayurvedic physician.
Indications
- Vata ailments (generalised vata imbalances)
- Vatashonita (vata-rakta — conditions involving vata and blood vitiation, including gout-like presentations)
Dosage & Application
Modes of use (as directed by physician):
- Snehapaanam — internal oleation therapy (oral intake of medicated oil under clinical supervision)
