Dhaanuantaram Kashayam – Classical Ayurvedic Vata-Balancing Herbal Decoction | 200 ml

Dhaanuantaram Kashayam is a classical Ayurvedic herbal decoction (kashayam) referenced in Ashtanga Hrudayam, named after Dhanvantari — the divine physician of Ayurveda. This 40+ herb formulation is one of Ayurveda's most comprehensive preparations for Vata disorders, addressing a wide spectrum of conditions involving the musculoskeletal system, urinary tract, reproductive system, and general debility.

The formulation is anchored by Bala (Sida rhombifolia) as the primary herb at 13.796 g per 10 ml — supported by the classical Dashamoola group, Ashwagandha, Shatavari, Gokshura, Vidarikanda, and a broad spectrum of Vata-pacifying herbs. Taken diluted with lukewarm water for optimal absorption.

Traditional Indications

  • Vata ailments (Vatavyadhi) — musculoskeletal, neurological, and systemic Vata disorders
  • Hydrocele (Vriddhi)
  • Gulma (abdominal distension)
  • Strained / difficult micturition (Mutrakrichra)
  • Vaginal ailments (Yoni Vikara)
  • Emaciation and debility (Shosham / Daurbalya)

Dosage

15–20 ml mixed with three times the quantity of lukewarm water, taken twice daily, or as directed by your Ayurvedic physician.

Example: 15 ml kashayam + 45 ml lukewarm water = 60 ml total per dose, twice daily.
