Sahacharaadi Kuzhampu 200ml — Classical Ashtangahrudayam Herbal Paste Oil
Reference: Ashtangahrudayam | Ashtavaidya Tradition of Kerala | Ashtavaidyan Thrissur Thaikkat Mooss SNA Oushadhasala
Sahacharaadi Kuzhampu is a time-honoured classical Ayurvedic medicated paste oil (Kuzhampu) prepared as per Ashtangahrudayam by Ashtavaidyan Thrissur Thaikkat Mooss SNA Oushadhasala. Featuring over 30 classical botanicals with Strobilanthes ciliatus (Sahachara) as the principal herb, processed in a distinctive four-component base of sesame oil, castor oil, animal fat, and milk using the traditional Taila Paka Vidhi method. The Kuzhampu format gives a thicker, more penetrating consistency compared to standard taila, suited for classical Kuzhampu applications. Traditionally indicated for Vata ailments — especially of the lower extremities — and varicose vein-related conditions.
⚠️ For external application only. Do not ingest. Contains animal fat.

Kuzhampu vs. Taila — What Makes This Different
Unlike standard Ayurvedic taila (oil), Kuzhampu is a classical semi-solid or thick medicated preparation processed with a multi-oil base including castor oil and animal fat. This gives Sahacharaadi Kuzhampu a thicker, more penetrating consistency — traditionally preferred for deeper Vata-pacifying applications, particularly for the lower extremities and joints.
